Three organizers and six co-organizers are participating in the preparation of 3ISPC-DASPICH-2023.
The conference is based on the recommendations of the 2003 UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
At the Conference, the presentations shall be made about living cultural heritage, elements of intangible cultural heritage, heritage bearers, events where bearers present these elements, research and preservation activities, as well as the environments in which these elements are practiced.
The Conference is organized as part of UNESCO's activities in 2023 to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the adoption of the Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Archiving and processing of collected data and application of various software and hardware digital technologies, implementation of different work methodologies to enhance the security and reliability of computer systems, examples of positive practices, and experiences, enhance the visibility and accessibility of intangible cultural heritage and the transmission to younger generations is facilitated.
Conference in one place brings together:
The goal of the Conference organizers is to gather these individuals in one place for the purpose of exchanging experiences, gaining new insights, and adopting a comprehensive approach to the topic of intangible cultural heritage. The aim is to provide more comprehensive descriptions of its various components, increase the visibility to the interested public, and generate additional interest among younger generations in their heritage.
The bearers are placed at the center, as they are the living custodians of the intangible cultural treasures. Thanks to them, elements of intangible cultural heritage thrive in local communities, serving as positive advocates and promoters of creativity in their respective places of origin.
The conference focuses on various elements of intangible cultural heritage, including traditional dances, traditional singing, playing traditional musical instruments, ancient customs and practices, traditional crafts and skills, traditional sports, traditional children's games, old stories and legends, language, traditional culinary practices, and other similar manifestations.
